Specifically Hairless
We are leaving Villanueva de Alcoron so let us have the two other local games according to wiki.
Chueca . A popular game based on a chueca (a short stick sharpened at both ends) and an estornija (a long stick used to hit the chueca). Cloths or aprons are also used to try to catch the chueca in flight. The game consists of two participating teams: one trying to throw the chueca as far as possible from the base, and the other trying to prevent this by eliminating each of the throwers to become throwers themselves and start scoring points. Points are estimated by eye based on the distance the chueca is from the base. To make the throw, the chueca is initially on the ground, requiring two strikes: the first to lift it from the ground and the second to hook it in mid-air and launch it as far as possible. If the throw is intercepted by one of the opposing team's nets, the thrower is eliminated. Other fouls include "rastón" (hitting the ground with the estornija), "vainica" (hitting the air with the estornija without hitting the chueca), and the ball hitting your body or the opponent's. There is abundant terminology for this game, which, according to our information, is only played in Villanueva de Alcorón and in the town of Armallones .
Shoulder blade race. Elimination race in which a pair tries to be the first to touch the shoulder blade held at the end of the course by whoever determines who has arrived first of the two and therefore who will pass to the next round, the one who wins in the final takes the shoulder blade.
A quick view of a bar and petrol station. Wiki suggests one may be open and the other temporarily closed. You decide.
Well it's a day for looking at trees so let us have three words in Spanish that don’t have an English direct translation.
Pardo - the colour which is somewhere between grey and brown.
Lampiño - a man who can not grow facial hair or only has the thinnest of coverage.
Manco / Manca - a one armed person.
I think we may come back to this. That’s it for today.
