If only we had a unicorn - but the salmorejo is excellent

We have taken a wrong turn so back down the road we go and might as well have another good look at the castle as we go.

The odd thing about this castle is that each tower has it own Google review. The nearest to us is Torre de Veladores. Juan wrote ‘Accessibility is somewhat difficult due to a spiral staircase and narrow passages. There are beautiful views from the top of the tower, but a windbreak makes movement difficult and poses a tripping hazard. Access to the roof leaves an unmarked and unprotected opening in the staircase. Be careful when taking photos to avoid falling into this hole. ‘

Round we go and towards a couple of petrol stations and the Restaurante El Cordobes.  Amparo gave it four stars five days ago. They felt ‘We were just passing through, stopped, and it was a pleasant surprise: a roadside restaurant with stunning views of Molina de Aragón Castle, serving good home-style food. The salmorejo was excellent, a typical Cordoban dish with the essence of the local olive oil. The grilled salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked, and for dessert, we had some very good homemade custard. The staff was very attentive, the place was very clean, and the decor was typical of the Cordoban region. ‘

We are on the N-211. It is one of those serviceable roads which carry people around in an ‘A’ road sort of way.  As we leave town the Club El deso is on our right. It opens from 9pm to 4am Tuesday to Sunday - although Google warns ‘This Place may be closed.’  The one review, a month ago, is from Arnau, says ‘Vanilla Unicorn is better,’  We could try to test this hypothesis - but we won't.

We are passing a decent sort of picnic site. It is yet to be reviewed.  We can not wait, we must go on.

On we go, along the N-211. It goes from Molin de Aragon all the way to Calanda - in Teurel.  It has wiki pages in Spanish, English and Dutch.
