A confused wander along the seafront in July 25.

We are going to wander along the seafront of Torremolinos. It is why people come here, that and the associated cafes et al.  We will sample them as we go.

First to Eden Chiringuito. It has a pride flag and a black and white photo by it.  It says it is LGTBQI+ friendly.  https://edentorremolinos.com/   The key words are beach 246, hammock, 47, deckchairs 34, LGBTQ 19, Gay 16, sun beds 16.  A couple of picks.

Beach - Mimo five months ago. Fun beach club, mostly attracting a gay/queer crowd and with vibes going from more chill to more party-like towards the evening (at least on the weekend). Food was also quite nice and the staff mostly very friendly and helpful.

Hammock - Roy Very posh.  Lots of sexy men.  A bit disappointed that staff didn’t come to check in to see if I wanted a beer or something to eat.  Left me me feeling a bit unimportant to the staff.  Very comfortable hamacas. Beautiful posh private beach area   Very sexy restaurant area.  Enjoyed my day a lot.  Glad I went

LGBTQ   Stuart Rented the sunbeds (€8 each weekday). Didn’t realise that the little paddling pool was only for guests who booked one of the beds (€150, they say they can seat 4 but realistically they could seat 2). Really great decor and the guys were super hot and gay! Drinks were actually good value, big bottles of water were €3. They have hot bar staff who do table and lounger service. Only negative is the cigarette buts in the sand, they need to have ash trays or ban smoking. Super close to the beach which was warm and yes, lots of hot gay guys! A must visit if you are LGBT.

I am very disappointed at the lack of reviews of the Kiss me Quick gift shops.  The beach, Playa Carihuela, does get 4.5 stars.  In December Fernando said ‘La Carihuela is a very comfortable and family-friendly beach. The sand is fine and the sea is usually calm, ideal for swimming without a care in the world. I really like the traditional atmosphere and the large number of restaurants where you can eat very well. It's a perfect beach to spend several days in a row because it has everything you need. Although it's quite touristy, it still retains its own unique charm. Highly recommended for those looking for comfort and a great atmosphere.’

We will end in Ale-hop. A bit more than a kiss-me-quick.  It has 4.3 stars from 1112 reviews.  Gonzalo was two starry.  We were here to buy a portable charger, and at first, the sales assistants seemed lovely, until you realized they'd just let you buy their products and move on to the next customer. We felt cheated because they make you feel friendly and approachable, and then you realize it was all a facade, at least with the girl on November 1st; her colleague didn't seem to be as genuine. We won't be back.

Jolien was happier.  ‘Be sure to visit one of the branches during a holiday in Spain. You're sure to find something to take home. Similar to Flying Tiger.’

Tomorrow is another day.
