 Lovely people. My wanderings in Spain are occasionally mirrored by wandering round Google Maps in Blighty. Who can not like a Google Review. I stumbled on this one. I think you will enjoy it.



7 months ago Traffic Signal Channel stated 'Such an awesome attraction! With the queues of traffic and it's 10th birthday soon it's a recommendation for something historic!'


It took a while to get going but three months later Mark added 'Amazing and fantastic value with free admission. You might have to wait a few minutes before entering, so grab a coffee at the nearby petrol station.'



Daniel responded quickly 'Incredible experience, can be a long wait during peak times. Definitely would recommend visiting this as it's a true Witham gem.'

Murray added 'Witham's answer to a "Meditation Space". In all that hectic travelling to work just take an enforced pause, take a breath, listen to Radio 2 and take in the scenery.'

So it goes on. Two weeks ago Julius stated 'A part of my life, don't know what I'd do without them'

Matt felt 'If you enjoyed the wait going towards the A12, you can get another free go if you turn in the junction after crossing the bridge to see the sights from the opposite direction'

Should I divert my usual path to visit. This will take some thinking about.

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park. One thing we noticed, especially with a small boy in tow, was the number of parks with interesting play equipment.  This is because, in Spain, people seem to like children.  This does make them a semi-public property and people feel free to indulge them with sweetmeats and pass comments. ‘I think sucking thumbs makes children look ugly’ said one elderly woman.’ My Spanish for ‘well desiccated prune face, no one asked you’ deserted me.  The play equipment is in the Plaza Pilarin Artigas.  Honestly I’ve looked and was giving u...
