Good lymphatic drainage combined with relaxation

 It is a mildly exciting day, in that, unexpectedly, we are going off piste - but first, sport.  We are near what Google calls a Sports Field and then leaves us with nothing.  That is next to the Comunidad Propietarios Eurotennis.  It is a flat complex with some bleached looking tennis courts.  A month ago Javier said ‘The apartment was fine. Close to the beach, very pretty, but you'll need to wear rubber shoes. It's a shame the building isn't well maintained. The contact person is very helpful.’

Old abandoned hotel, you can still see the restaurant or the billiards inside collecting dust. The rooms have been converted into apartments. Some renovated, some not, some under construction, another left by the passage of time. Very battered tennis courts, deteriorated pool with a lot of dirt on the walls, they are green. Cool beach bar as well as the path that takes you to the beach, with many stones and rocks but beautiful. Common facilities to renovate, but I think it will not happen, it is left to the passage of time, and what is next to it does not invite you to stay or repeat. Walks different from the typical ones to ice cream parlors and restaurants, lots of nature.’





After that we are out, into the scrub and so on to the N-332. This road is 386km long, starts in Valencia and will generally take in the coast till it gets to Cartagena.  It used to go on to Vera, but this is now regarded as ‘historic 332’ rather than the current brand.  That is a exciting as it gets.  It does a great job clinging to the cliffs, sometimes sharing the route with the railway. Around here it runs parallel to the AP-7.




We will pass near to the Platja del Carritxal, of which R says ‘Difficult access, not well maintained and can be dangerous for cars and other vehicles.’  Ana is more positive ‘Isolated beach, with quite difficult access, since the access is through a tunnel next to the road, we had to stop the van in front and cross the road to go under since it is the only access (or at least it seems like it, if there is another, I don't know), and in our case our van couldn't fit)For the rest fine, the truth is that it is pretty. A very quiet beach, the only thing is the water is rough, but stopping for a walk and spending the day is very good.’



 We end near the Wellness Beach Therapies.  42 people, giving 5 stars, what could go wrong?  Well, the website doesn’t connect.  Luna Norwind wrote six months ago ‘An absolute recommendation.  I immediately felt very comfortable.  A great atmosphere and Marta is super professional and very sensitive.  Good lymphatic drainage combined with relaxation. I always look forward to the treatment and also to Marta’

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park.
