 We will quickly get back on the main road, and head straight on and towards a rather large sign telling us a seller of giggly things for couples to play with is ahead.  My favourite thing about people is they will review anything - the review of the motorway bridge near Burgos proves that.  Well, Ivana went to the trouble of telling us her consumer experience a year a go. ‘We visited the store this week and were surprised by the amount of products available, lots of variety and quality! Amelia was less happy.  ‘The purchased product was defective; the battery didnt last long enough and also drained when the battery was off. The poor performance was verified in the store, and they neither replaced it with a similar one nor refunded the full amount (€165).’

We are heading into Sant Joan d’Alacant - which has about 25,000 people and is a dormitory of Alicante.



We haven’t been to a baker for a while so let us pop into the Panaderia Benimagrell El Horno Antiguo’ Mariano was fairly happy a week ago.  ‘In the summer, we bought the salty cocas, which we thought were the best in all of Alicante, until last week when we ordered one with tuna and vegetables and another with sausage and vegetables, along with a 1kg baguette. They were the worst cocas we've eaten in years: the dough wasn't fully risen, raw, and tasteless, with the sausage dry. Let's hope it's a one-time thing, otherwise we'll have to change ovens. The bread, though, is fantastic.’



|Let us end at the Gran Confort sofa store  Ann-Marie was clearly happy.  ‘Very happy with my purchase here, Maria Jesus was very helpful and the bed and mattress I ordered arrived very quickly and look and feel great, all at a very competitive price!

Mini Pieces of Supposed tuna

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park.
