Not much of a clip show

This is the world of the new road, all sharp edges and clean routes.  There really isn’t a lot to look at in terms of reviews and I have had enough of trying to eke a few words from a little-written about warehouse so let's just mooch.

I'm trying to think of what has been the most memorable bits of this.  Well, taking two days from my front door to the next village. I wasn’t doing Google reviews in those days but I note our butcher gets 4.9 stars.  Iain wrote ‘2 months ago

Stopped in on route to Keadby. A excellent old fashioned Butchers 🤗 where they still hang sides of meat in their window, a large selection of meat on display, joints, chops, sausages  ect and all quality, as well as pies 🥧, pastys, sausage rolls, scotch eggs ect . Excellent service, we bought quite a lot including two coffee's which we drank outside on the one of the tables they provided. Very pleased 😁👍

I think hitting France has stuck, though why there and not elsewhere I don’t know. I suppose being able to place Pegasus Bridge and then the military cemetery in the flat hinterland a few days later marked that section.

The Basque country stood out for the ability to disappear up crowded valleys and into high pastures.

I suppose the best thing is suddenly discovering new bits which has odd towns on strange hills and castles for no good reason.  So we continue.
