Looking for soulbikes and a place to eat

We are heading back towards those sorts of roads which have been designed to hurry traffic along in an efficient way. This one comes with its own distraction in the shape of a cross with its own stone gazebo.  La Cruz Cubierta garners 4.1 stars from 14  reviews.  Coheta does us most favours by describing what it is:

They say that King James I died in this place or stopped to rest on his way to Valencia when he was convalescent. In Valencia capital we can also find another covered cross of the same dimensions.  There is no access for pedestrians, the road runs in both directions and it is very dangerous to approach it without due precautions. Very pretty.

David is very accurate

It's not bad but it's not very good

Boro seems lost on the Googlesphere

I give 3 stars because I haven't tried the food, but the truth is, seeing part of the kitchen that can be seen from the bar, it wouldn't be a place where I would like to eat or even want a sandwich. Besides, coffee is little less than chicory. Without body, watery and little flavor. Run and served by Asian staff, although I have no qualms about it, cleanliness and sanitary care are not their strong points. For my part, it is a place where, with other bars and restaurants just a few meters away, I will not return.

We are heading into Alzira.    English wiki calls it an urban agglomeration, and with 100,000 residents they may be true.  As the name suggests, it is of Morrish origins. James I of Aragon captured the place in 1242. If wiki is to be believed it is most notable for devastating floods, in 1472, 1590, 1864, 1916, 1957, 1982, 1987, 2006 and 2024.  In recent years its economy has switched from oranges to ice cream and textiles.

We’ve not been to a florist in a while so we will pop into Floristeria Carol  Bellepops was impressed.  ‘Great professionals, very close people, great attention and great work. I loved the flower centerpiece that they decorated and adorned, with variety, colorful and very well made. Congratulations!! Totally recommended, humble, hard-working, close and very professional people.’

Nearby are Soul Bikes.  http://www.soulbikes.es/  Recent reviews are not happy - one claiming this is the worst thing about the city - which is an achievement you must agree.  A year ago avi said ‘Your best option in Alzira in terms of bicycles, Fede is a great professional in repairing and preparing bicycles and Miguel Ángel is a 10 in his attention!’

We will end by the Parc de l’Aquenecia. It is open from 6.30am to 10pm.   A month ago Francisco said ‘A well-maintained park in Alzira features several playgrounds, easy parking, and an on-site bar for coffee or beer. It also has dog areas and open spaces for relaxing. Of particular note is the small skating area, separated from the rest of the park.’

So we end and so we are.
