It's really rather simple what the psyche tries to hide

With a song on our lips and a spring in our step we push on.  Alright, I am a bit busy at the moment so detail research into the mayor of the pueblo can go hang.  Let's go for a wander.

A quick reverse takes us along a replaced road and passed various concerns and round to cross the motorway.

While we are singing it is time for  journey down memory lane.  My childhood was scattered with primary school hymns, traditional carols and a musical based on Jonah ['I need a boat, man, to carry me away...etc] which our Music Teacher was rather keen on.  Reenactment introduced me to the rather eclectic collection of Shanty, shabby chic Industrial misery and some improvised neo-17th century ballads, that was the ECWS folk.

Of course, as Tom Lehrer observed, the problem with folk music is that it was written by the people.  Borrowings from all over the place, Lehrer, and on one memorable Party Piece Night 'Melanie's 'Psychotherapy' https://www.youtube.com/watch v=iRuru1nO0QU&list=RDiRuru1nO0QU&start_radio=1  scatter across the musical past.  Once, we were emerged from fog, walking among the lower Pennines, to the outrage of respectable walkers, bellowing a variant on 'Red Fly the Banner's oh!'

Well, that's filled some space.   We have a Candlemas Bun to enjoy and will be near the Bar Restaurante Sant Roc.  This is a 3.9 star sort of place.  Eva was unhappy a month a go.

'The treatment by the staff was shameful! We were about 30 or 40 and of course everyone was talking, there was a scandal but without asking us to lower our voices they told us in a rude manner that they would not give us sandwiches for shouting!! Shameful not to return'

The Management replied 'That has not been the case, we have asked you to please lower your voices (more than 4 times) and you have not listened to us, on top of that you were hitting the tables. Customers that we had inside have had to go out to the terraces because of the scandal you had, on top of that you have started disrespecting the waitresses and waiters, insulting them and yelling at them.

You had already eaten the sandwiches, at least those of the children and more than one adult, when we told you again to lower your voice it no longer seemed right to you and you wanted to leave without paying (everything being done). More than a few of you have left without paying and screaming.'

Less songs tomorrow.
