The trees throw branches and fat seeds that hinder the elderly people


 Today is a bit of a tour de force of Spain.  We begin following the street plan established centuries ago, among the crowded lanes surrounding the castle. We then go through the big blocked highish rises of modern apartments. Then we head off down the outer lanes with modern industrial concerns, some standing proudly clean and presentable amid the wastes.  We will then nip between some older concerns before coming out into the country.


We will nip into 5 Hermanos for a quick drink.  Apparently it never closes but is busiest around 1pm and 9pm.  The only worded review reckons it has good sandwiches and friendly treatment. 

 Get out to the main road we can cross to the Parc de la Panderola  I will let Fran explain.  ‘The park is dominated by a beautiful example of a factory chimney, built with brick as was done in ancient times. The work was carried out by Mr. Manuel Crespo Soler in 1990, Burjassot's master builder.’  Victor was not happy.  ‘They should take better care of this park. It is full of trash in the bushes surrounding the area outside the fireplace. The ground around it is also very neglected, the trees throw branches and fat seeds that hinder the elderly people who are going to spend the afternoon. The swings and large slide that there were in the 90s were amazing, what they have now is cheap crap.’

The food is great, you order it via an provided tablet (or your own phone via qr), and it is brought to you super quick and freshly made either from a cute cat robot or a member of staff. There are veggie options for vegetarians and a great variety of all things. Obviously this is especially good if you've got a big appetite as you'll make the most of it. There are different prices for adults and for children, which differ again depending on time of day i.e. peak times like nights or weekends are more expensive than during the week or lunch time.’

Mini Pieces of Supposed tuna

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park.
