Nothing special but nice

The road has been relaid and reshaped but, for all fans of 180o bends and sudden drops, this is still a road which offers up much to the keen fan of ‘don’t go too fast.’

First things first.  We are going to stop and pull into a layby for a quick look at the view.

Now on to the ‘Attention - don’t drive too fast’ sign.  By the sign is a path going to Nevera d'Alcúdia de Veo. It is a stone hut which was used to store snow, which could later be used as ice during warmer months.  https://www.turismodecastellon.com/es/que-hacer/cultura/monumentos/show/103806 136 people have bothered to review it.

Four years ago Petropavlosk said it all ‘Nice. Nothing special. But nice to see a historical building being well-preserved.’

Manufactured Fear said ‘The refrigerator is a kind of cylinder that goes underground and has a small window to look out of. The problem is that there is no way to access its interior because it seems to have no spillway, like other refrigerators I have visited such as the one in Xátiva. It would be nice to be able to access its interior via a tunnel.’

I have to say, I tink I prefer Manufactured Fear to the organic stuff,  It normally comes with an off button.

Look, this is the only think happening today so we might as well have another two.

The lowest worded review was from Ana.  She said ‘We have not arrived, it is very poorly signposted’

Juan said ‘The refrigerator is located on the side of the road where there is an esplanade where you can leave the car if there are not many people. Additionally, several walking or cycling routes start from this point and you can even climb to Espadan Peak. The nearby landscapes are very beautiful’

That’s it for today.
