Very very dry


We are heading out of town, out across another viaduct before snickling along the suburban apartments. 


This is a day for the moderns.  Newish  shops, some new bars and new everythings.  The Restaurante Los Amantes gets 4.2 stara from 876 reviews.  It opens from 8am till 5pm and 8pm to midnight every day except sundays.    Dewi Pobo gave this review.  2 stars, ‘We went there for lunch, the girl who was working as a waiter at the 2nd floor was very very dry.. no atittude, no smile and not polite at all. The boys were way much better. In my opinion the girl should not be working for clients.. As I know that Spanish are friendly BUT not her… If the food is good but the is service bad.. then we have negative impression about the restaurant.’

Jugettos toy shop is usually open from 10 till 2 and 5 to 8.  Many leave reviews but few words.  Francisco said ‘a year ago It is a magical world full of toys but above all it is magical because of the staff that works there who are super friendly’



I don’t think we’ve been in a launderette since Gijon.   It gets 4.6 stars and Richard said ‘Nice little laundrette with three washers and two driers. Cash only but there’s a bank five minutes away which takes a UK debit card and charges only €0.54 to withdraw. Washer is €5-6 for a 30 minute cycle and drier is €2 for an 18 minute cycle’



We are really pushing into the burbs now.  We are near a MCDonalds. It only gets 3.2 stars.  Howard gae it 4 ‘Usual McDonald's facility,clean with touch screens in various languages which we found helpful’  whereas Myra was more critical ‘There is no option on ordering for lettuce. The Burgers we're cold, as were the chips, although strangely we had just seen the girl tip them from the fryer into the holding tray! Not a good experience. Burger King knocks spots off MacDonald's



So it ends.  So it begins tomorrow.

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park.
