We drove to their garage on Saturday morning and they repaired the tire with a universal rubber patch and proper glue and we were good to continue our trip. They didn't have replacement tires for this but he did excellent job on the repair. This took only 30min and 17€ euros. We were very happy to give a good tip.  They didn't speak English but there's good 4G connection and we used Google Translate.’

Ontop of the hill is the Bar Restaurante El Ventorrillo.  The photo suggests it is very closed.  Google marks it as temporarily closed.  The last review was two years ago.  We have an unworded five star and Cynthia reckoning one star ‘One hour to be attended to if you are in a hurry or go.’ It has the feel of one of those places which served the traveller before the motorway and now the motorway is here, their customers aren’t.




So we move on and at the end of the day we leave the road and track alongside the Autovia Mudejar.

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park.
