I enter Albentosa and I feel at home


 We are still in Albentosa and it is time to visit the Horno bakery.  It has 4.6 stars and Marina said, three weeks ago, ‘It is an oven with bread made in a wood oven, it is delicious.’  Christina would probably agree. ‘The exquisite muffins and empanadas. We are deliberately going for them. Tomato and pine nut cake also highly recommended. Let's all make sure these businesses survive. Quality of 10.’






Nearby is the Bar Albentosa.  It is woman-owned 4.7 tapas bar.  Six days ago Eduardo opined ‘Traveling by bike, I enter Albentosa and I feel at home....the treatment is very familiar and friendly, the service is super correct, and I only order a sandwich and a soft drink, but the simple thing is more difficult to make perfect...I want to highlight that they also serve some really spectacular, tasty and large black and green olives as an appetizer!!! Highly recommended







With that we are out of town and crossing the TE-32.  From there we will plunge into the wilder lands and back paths.

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park.
