The Story of Barry Sheffield
It is possible to play Football Manager for more than the season on the box. People with the best of intentions have et the computer do this for a thousand years and in that time Skelmsersdale got to the FA Cup semi-final twice. This does present a few problems. Once, an aging Marcus Rashford became Assistant Manager at European hot shots Barnet and still, according to his profile photo looked in his 20s. To keep the game going you get newly generated players. These bright you things, free of libel laws, can do all sorts of things - some even come out. The names of the future club legends, however, sometimes have a made up feel - like Javier Zaraogza. I mention this because Javier Zaragoza is very much alive and was born in Alcorisa and was their favourite son in 2019.
Javier Zaragoa is a Spanish jurist . He has served as an anti-drug prosecutor and chief prosecutor at the National Court . He is currently a prosecutor at the Supreme Court .After graduating in Law from the University of Zaragoza , he joined the public prosecutor's office in 1982. His first posting was at the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Provincial Court of San Sebastián , as a deputy public prosecutor, although he eventually served as acting chief public prosecutor during the ETA campaigns.
In 1987, he was assigned to Madrid and in 1988 appointed deputy prosecutor of the Anti-Drug Prosecutor's Office . In this office, he participated in significant anti-drug operations, such as Operation Nécora alongside Judge Baltasar Garzón in 1990 at the age of 33. He led the Public Prosecutor's team that represented the public prosecution in the trial for the jihadist attacks in Atocha - the 11M attack of 2004.
In 2005, he was promoted to prosecutor and appointed chief prosecutor of the Anti-Drug Prosecutor's Office by the then State Attorney General Cándido Conde-Pumpido . In 2006 he was appointed head of the Prosecutor's Office of the National Court , ] a position he held until March 2017. Together with the Anti-Terrorism Prosecutors' Offices of France, Belgium, and Morocco, he promoted the Quadripartite Anti-Terrorism Group and the formation of more than a dozen joint investigation teams. He is currently a prosecutor at the Supreme Court and participated as a public prosecutor in the Catalan independence trial.
Meanwhile we are turning off the main road and then the side road onto the dirt road. Enjoy!
