Up the hill

It does seem odd to be going in depth around an area where at least one of the readers actually knows the place. Will we visit ghost shops, long gone but having a half life in remaining google reviews? Will one stars by rogue reporters blight an otherwise perfect hat shop? Will we ever be allowed back into the town after dragging its good name through the interweb. Let’s turn left and find out.

Up the hill we go. Farmacia Matarrana Marta Gisbert Garzaran 10 reviews, 3,8 stars] is next door to the Caja Rural de Teruel Calaceite [2 reviews, 5 stars] https://www.ruralteruel.com/es The Ibercaja Banco [2 reviews, 4 stars] is next and then Lo Moli de les Nenes. [733 reviews, 4.5 stars] 17 hours ago Carmen wrote ‘Enjoy your dishes very well, very well presented and tasty.’ Nuria reckoned a week ago ‘Lovely place. Service, even better’

The Caléndula Gastro Bar appears to be closed, which is a shame as it got 4.7 stars from 36 reviews.

If we nip over the road the Apartamentos Ca i’Apotecari gets 4.9 stars from 16 reviews. Six months ago Alberto wrote ‘Super recommended place, we stayed in the Sant Cristovol apartment, very clean, very new, with little details (coffee, local oil). Perfect pool. Albert, super nice and very attentive to everything we ask of him. Thank you very much for the good experience.’

So we end at the top of the hill at the Guardia Civil. Funnily it gets only two reviews. Jose gives 4 stars but talks about the town and Danny, one, but says nothing about why.

So we end in the connecting lane near the top of it all.
