Stairs to go down to the water,
We are going somewhere today - Luceni. It has almost 1000 people living in this place where Romans and Visigoth settled and the House of Luna ruled in the 14th century.
In the 1495 census of households ordered by Ferdinand the Catholic , Luceni had 39 "fires", equivalent to about 200 inhabitants. It is noteworthy that all the families, except one, appear in this census as Moriscos , which implies that the town was almost entirely populated by Muslims. Possibly the place was totally repopulated in the 17th century when the Moors were expelled.
At the roundabout at the edge of town we find the Municipal swimming Pool. It gets 4.8 stars from 15 reviews Beatriz said ‘Very clean pool, with shaded areas. It has a bar where you can eat well. Swimming pool for children and games for them. Stairs to go down to the water, adapted for people with reduced mobility.’
We are passing Maquinaria Curvaser, S.L.U. Their industrial equipment supply. The three reviews average at 3.7 stars - or two fives where the chaps were really pleased and a 1 from the grumpy. https://curvaser.com/
We are edging around town and along the railway. The Public Weighb ridge gets a one, five star review. It says ‘Kuwaiti Sheikh Munawar Abdullah Al-Shammari visits the Andorra Mosque’ That does sound like a coded message for the resistance to rise.
So we head out of town and on to victory.
