No Nobody kills because it doesn't happen.

 Sometimes you write something of such perfection it almost hurts.  You will just have to believe I did just that as the first draft got wiped.  I thought I had posted it.  Apparently I hadn’t.




We start the day in an almost Netherlandish landscape. It is flat.  Trees are clinging to drainage ditches. All things seem Dutch.  We will follow the backlanes and end up in n industrial state and cross the railway and into a couple of urbanisation which has grown up along the N-322.



We are near the Casetas-Cercanias rail station it gets but 2.7 stars although the reasons do not always translate well. Antuan Moros is mostly taken in a four star way. ‘Modern station that is part of the Zaragoza commuter network, although being quite far from the urban center it does not receive many passengers. It also has some medium distance trains. It has a large parking lot. The old station is right next door.’  



Guillem Jimeno is less sure. ‘Important station within the union of the Zaragoza - Madrid and Zaragoza - Castejón lines. With the Cercanías line and the new stops made by some more regional trains, it has gained something more as a station. In addition to being a station dedicated to technical stops for passenger and freight trains, it also has the warehouse where the AZAFT trains are stored. And it is located close to the town itself, although it could have a faster and more direct entrance to the town.



It must be said that all the platforms except the Cercanías platform are level with the track, so the difference in level from the train to the platform is exaggerated and it is a shame that today and with the trains that stop, they continue like this... No Nobody kills because it doesn't happen.’




We will pass a few people whose daily stories are forever frozen in the aspic of Streetview. 





Crossing the road we will pause at the Meson Yoli..  Koldo said ‘A bar located in the Casetas neighborhood on the main avenue. Good variety of lunches at a good price. Lots of people having lunch, there must be a reason, a large and clean place. The waitresses are a spectacle for their speed and efficiency, and they don't stop for a second. They also serve lunch and dinner. Moderate prices.

Certainly a recommendable site.’

Mini Pieces of Supposed tuna

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park.
