 We are about turn north and head back for the river.  Why are we doing this?  Why the devil not!  Actually, it is all to do with Expo 2008.  By complete accident we were in Zaragoza during Expo.  Our connection with it was accidental and fortunate and mostly swimming based.



Bidding for the Expo began in 2008.  Awarded in December 2004, the whole thing opened on 14th June 2008/  The theme was water and sustainable development.  We went looking for the swimming pool, fed by the Ebro and a welcome break from the heat.  The pure joy of the discovery of swimming in one of the many local pools had been revealed to us on this trip and repeated at every opportunity since,  First, we have to get there.

We are very sorry that the sound did not live up to your expectations. We take note to improve’    Three weeks ago Almudena said ‘My review is directed to Isaac, box office staff, I had a problem with online sales and he solved it immediately online, being very friendly at all times. So we cross the river in an enclosed bridge.  I remember it as feeling new and shiny.  By it was evidently freshly lais turf that needed more watering as several clumps shrunk away from their neighbours.    I can’t find a review for the swimming pool but I can for the parking lot.  Fernando enigmatically wrote a single word - ‘familiar’  Crazy family trips with kids - do you think Crazy is the first name? - opined ‘A beautiful parking lot, free of charge. Great for visiting the city. Plenty of parking spaces, the only thing is that now several lanes are closed. Some campers stayed overnight. Quietly’

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park.
