Turning in bed felt precarious.

On the road again  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWKf-xZhbtQ The N-232 for those of you who need to know is one of the great National road,s linking Vinaroz on the Med, to Santander via Zaragoza.

We are in the land of wine and also the Ebro.  The valley was used by the railway builders to avoid all the ups and downs.  We will pass close to the Estacion De San Asensio.  Eva was so one starry about it I am going to publish the whole thing.

Our experience at The Train Station was disappointing, prompting us to leave after just one night despite booking for three. We paid over 110 EUR per night, which we believe was unjustified for the quality provided. While the living room and bathroom appeared nice in photos, everything was of low quality and fell apart with use. The bathroom had a persistent foul odor, masked poorly by scented sprays that didn’t help. Cleanliness was an issue, with dust and spider webs everywhere. One toilet was completely broken and unusable. The Wi-Fi was unreliable; I had to fix it myself, and the speed was inadequate for remote work.

However, the main reason for our early departure was the bedroom. It was tiny, and while it felt cramped. We are of average size, yet turning in bed felt precarious. We were also aware of train noise, but it was primarily from cargo trains passing by every 1-1.5 hours at night. For a relaxing stay and standard accommodation, we recommend looking elsewhere.

Eri was happier ‘Rural accommodation in an old train station (with working track)

The decoration is simple but beautiful and careful. The experience of watching the trains pass so close and the views from the living room are unique. I have very good memories of our stay here, I just have to say that cleanliness is conspicuous by its absence. And that's why I give 3 stars. The floor was not mopped or swept (remains of food), there was hair from the previous guests everywhere, sofa, floor... And drips in the kitchen. The air fresheners in the entire apartment are worn out, there is a bathroom that smells a little bad from the drain, but we fixed it by closing the door. Since we had 2 others. There was no refill of Fairy nor spray for flies and mosquitoes, the canisters that were there were worn out.

I think that with a little interest and care in cleaning and preparation, the final opinion could change very positively.

The Restaurante la Bodega is more highly reckoned.  Gro said two days ago

‘We were traveling and discovered the place by chance. We usually look for where to eat, when we don't know where, using Google Maps. It is true that many opinions are false, no matter how much they want to make you believe otherwise. Now, the number of positive things this restaurant had encouraged us to try it.

The place is "different." Spacious, with a large bar at the entrance, the bathrooms in a high area and a large dining room. The decoration does not stand out for its quality or its modernism, but it does not seek that. It is classic, rural, with details.

But the important thing: the food. We saw a great variety of dishes being served on other tables and, honestly, they caught our attention.

We, who were traveling and were not into binge eating, decided on the menu of the day.

It presents two menus, one cheaper and the other more complete, with dishes to share (the complete one). Regarding the economy, I have no regrets.

We were four people and we were all very happy with our dishes, the quantity and the variety. Obviously regarding the price.

They were good in flavor, well served and a quantity that was perfect.

The service from the waitresses was very good, kind and friendly, despite the rush required to have a full dining room. And well, there is always a black chickpea ;-)

For my part, I strongly recommend the place. I don't think it has any drawbacks for normal people.
