Back to 2012 if at all

We are once more in a streetview desert - whole stretches of adequate roads missed out and those not so blessed were done in 2012.  Few things have reviews and those tend to be uninteresting and unworded.    The Casa El Jazmin was liked by Joseba.  ‘Super neat house. The new kitchenware. Several independent apartments or the entire house. Close to everything in Rioja Alta’

We are walking through farmland so lets get agricultural.  The population is concentrated in the irrigated farmland (producing grapes, cereals, and horticultural produce) along the Ebro River and its tributaries. . The Canal of Lodosa, initiated in 1930, has channeled the Ebro River itself and greatly expanded the land under irrigation. The population of the lower Rioja tends to foregather in towns with about 2,000 souls, while the settlements of the Iberian Cordillera, where dry farming and animal husbandry predominate, have been steadily losing population - we’ve been here before.  The upper Rioja produces jolly good red wines. With Basque cities to the north diversification of agricultural production took place in the last century including new crops including gherkins, carrots, leeks, potatoes and asparagus.

We end the day by the A-68. It links Bilbao to Zaragoza.  It was built between 1975 and 1980 and is about 292km.  With that, we will end today.
