A grid of activity and a lack of aesthetics

We are on a major N road and that means restaurant /hotels, probably with displays of single cakes wrapped in plastic and souvenirs for the incautious traveller.  Restaurante El Molino has that aesthetic.  It supports the working week.  It opens at 5.30am and closes at 11.30pm during the week.  At the weekend i is a 7am to 5pm place.

The reviews are not all that.  It averages 3.9 from over 1700 takes.  Four days ago Richard gave it 4 stars but didn’t say why. Five days JJ went the full five and opined ‘Please have the opportunity to stop at these traditional places that are located off the highway.  Homemade, varied, old-fashioned food that Mari Cruz and her team have been serving for many years.’

To be honest most of the recent reviews are good.  One one star was all about people arriving and finding it closing and feelling this had not been made clear to them.  Two months ago Daniel gave what I think is a proper Three Star review.  Three stars really ought to be for - its ok, in a British sense of lives up to expectations.  ‘A hostel at the foot of the road with very good prices for the rooms It is especially good for us workers. Single room €30 With breakfast and dinner €40 Clean room warm water Coffee and croissant breakfast Menu dinner Quite noisy because it opens very early and there is a lot of traffic but in general it is not bad

We are on the edge of Agoncillo.  For such a small place Wiki gives a lot of History  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agoncillo,_La_Rioja  About 1100 people live there.  Most of the details are about the nobles who owned it but it does add that Heinkel III’s used to operate out of the aerodrome.   The town website opens with some nice drone shts https://agoncillo.org/  There is a cooking workshop today but we don’t have time to stop.  https://agoncillo.org/index.php/ayuntamiento/calendario-de-eventos

Out of the town we are entering one of those extensive industrial zones with a grid of activity and a lack of aesthetics  Mecanizaciones Aeronauticas S A dwell here.  They are a 9 till 5 sort of a place and will cater to your aerospace needs.  The website offers views of machines in action https://masa.aero/ They say they value people ‘At MASA, people are our priority. We believe that the key to the success of any project is the human factor, which is why we consider it the most important value of our company.

We want to continue being a benchmark, so that the best professionals come to us and we continue creating a strong project committed to our clients.

At MASA we take care of human capital through continuous training, integration, respect, teamwork, development and the possibility of growing in a solid project within the aeronautical world.’  The reviewers are unworded - well, Paula said 5 stars Ha Ha Ha seven years ago so I am not sure what to make of that.

Enough of this.  Tomorrow, we have more foolish things to think about.
