Good location, with parking and park

Northern Castile has wide green valleys and rivers and all manner of niceness.  We are heading down to Loma de Montija.  It translated, according to Google, as Montija Hill.  Apparently 55 people live in the place.

It has a Restaurant.  The Restaurante Agora,  It appears to open 9am till 11pm everyday, except Saturday, when it never closes, and Wednesday, when it is closed.  Dman D was averagely impressed.  ‘€22 for a menu (on Saturday) that is not worth it. Simple food, without much fun. A lot of noise in the dining room and it wasn't full. Slow service when serving between courses. Good location, with parking and park. To get through it well. Nothing spectacular.’  Reviews are mixed.

Not much else today.  Let us be diverted. The Province of Burgos.  The population is 357,000, which is 40,000 less than 1950 but marginally up since 2000.  There are 371 municipalities, many of which have less than 100 residents.   About 2.5% of it is categorised as Cantabrian Slope, 34% Ebro basin and 63.5% Duero Basin.

During November the average max temp is 7.6oC. And average minimum is 1.6oC.  Expect 8 days of rain and 5.6cm of the stuff.  Two days may have snow.

Use that knowledge well.

Tomorrow we head south.
