When it rains everything in the camp quickly becomes muddy.

Why do people go to the rest of Spain. Well, yes, the sun, but you get a lot of it here in the summer. It doesn't get too hot and it is just stunning.  The village we are in contains small farms, allotments and the Taberna de Valles.  It appears to appear on instagram https://www.instagram.com/taberna_valles?igshid=OTJhZDVkZWE%3D  Four days ago JRFS1968 said ‘First class service, excellent food, a great place to come and share’    A day earlier Ann Dolan said ‘A very lucky destination. Franco made us feel like royalty despite us being beaten smelly and tired in the roasting hot sun.  The service for me was the peak! And as food people that is so rare as the food was wonderful, in fact too wonderful. I'm hoping to return one day Well done team taberna de valles’

We are wandering along between the sea and salt estuaries which reach inland.  We won;t end up at the beach, which is a shame because it is a spectacular one - long, sandy, with rocks and streams to play with.  Instead we will pass by the Star Surf Camp.  https://www.starsurfcamps.com/surfing-holidays/oyambre-spain/  Two weeks ago Raphael said ‘Cheap but quite good surf camp. The infrastructure is the same as at the other surf camps e.g. Amigos or Ripstar at the Rodero campsite. The team always spreads a good mood and tries hard to make your stay pleasant. About 10 minutes walk to the beach. When it rains everything in the camp quickly becomes muddy.’

We end the day across the estuary - I’m getting Laugharne vibes - and near the Caramelo Sunset Club.  It is also on instagram https://www.instagram.com/caramelo.sunsetclub?utm_medium=copy_link  It has but 3.7 stars.  Mostly these seem to be older reviews about the slowness of service.  Recent ones seem to be happier.  Four weeks ago t covas said ‘It's great for having a drink late at night and they serve you very well’

Tomorrow, a bit of Gaudi in the north.
