Doing a good job

It is a day for a smattering of houses and bendy lamps.  The villages seem to be the sort of places where the houses are not entirely comfortable with close proximity and so keep their distance from their neighbours.

We are mostly going to enjoy the view.  We will pop into the Bar Los Remedios, well, it would be rude not to.   The bar opens at 11am weekdays and 8.30 at weekends and closes at 10.30 on all but Friday - when it shuts up shop half an hour earlier.

Reviews tend to be a bit unworded.  Two months ago Fide reckoned ‘Good for a relaxed drink, not crowded, almost always locals.’  Seven months ago Oscar reckoned ‘The only entertainment venue in Las Presillas, doing a good job. Good terrace and playground attached to the premises, easy access 👏 for disabled people with limited mobility. Great attention 👍’

We will eventually shuffle the edges of Vargas.  It has a wiki page in only one language and that is not over burdened with facts,  Apparently 1339 people lived there in 2008.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vargas,_Cantabria

That’s it.  Caves ahead of us.
