It's not very big but pretty
We start the day in Spain. It says so on the Google Map. We are in Asturian coastal joy. Every so often the rocky coast is broken by a sandy beach and the valley to it has a campsite crammed in and a scattering of houses in the middle of nowhere.
The Playa Arenal de Moris Susuana said ‘We spent a pleasant day at the beach. It's not very big but pretty It was Friday and it wasn't very crowded. You can eat at the beach bar. Served by young people. We had a very nice and friendly waitress. At the end of the afternoon there was a musical performance. Bring an umbrella’
The umbrella stand was a bit of a surprise when first we went to Asturias. It is called Green Spain for a reason. It soon became obvious why cafes in Gijon had them. We have one although as it never rains in England we have little use for it.
The beach car part gets 4.1 stars, compared to the beach’s 4.7. Miguel only gave it three stars. ‘This is not a FREE PARKING space as It might look... The price is 5€/day and of course you can be cheeky about It and arrive at sunset, but the ticket man Will knock on your door early in the morning. If you travel with Camper or similar mind this place has no wáter or other services.’
That’s it for the day. Enjoy the walk to Berbes. Alright, you have deserved it. Cafe Mina has seven reviews and an average of 5 stars. A month ago Olya said ‘v=We took shelter here during a rainstorm while doing the camino. Great service, excellent coffee, and really appreciated the newspapers they offered to dry the shoes that soaked through 🩷’ Sophia added ‘Friendly welcoming bar on the Camino! Very tasty tortillas and kind staff 🦎❤️ …’ The tortillas seem to be a thing.
That’s really it this time.
