The Lady is not Valid

 Back on the road again.   First stop Restaurante La Pamera. It gets an average of 4.1 stars, 5, 4,1,3,and 2 in that order.  2 hours ago Chechu said ‘Great deal. Quality meat and grill and incredible views. 100% recommended’  A day ago Leticia wrote ‘We ended up eating 13 people by chance, the food was not bad although it was not exceptional we ate.  But the treatment of the waitress was regrettable, this "lady" is not valid to be in front of the public, she has neither education nor respect when dealing with clients and we must also remember that her salary comes from the clients and lower your air a little.  We certainly won't be back again. The waiter served us better’


I had to look up Leticia to see if this is her view of the world. She is very 5 or 1 star in her world view.




Shall we move on to the Hotel-Restaurant Albergue Playa de Cueva, yes, lets.  It is a mere 4 stars and will set you back £64 a night.  Five hours ago Niel Armstrong wrote ‘Stayed here while walking the Camino del Norte, it actually passes right by so location perfect. The dinner menu was superb, can't complain about a thing, very good! 👣👣👣’  Clearly he was over the mon. [sorry].  Carlos added two days ago ‘Very good hostel of impeccable quality and great dedication on the part of the owners, although the owner could have been a little friendlier, in general there are no complaints.’

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park. One thing we noticed, especially with a small boy in tow, was the number of parks with interesting play equipment.  This is because, in Spain, people seem to like children.  This does make them a semi-public property and people feel free to indulge them with sweetmeats and pass comments. ‘I think sucking thumbs makes children look ugly’ said one elderly woman.’ My Spanish for ‘well desiccated prune face, no one asked you’ deserted me.  The play equipment is in the Plaza Pilarin Artigas.  Honestly I’ve looked and was giving u...
