A diversity of reviews

 Today is much the same as yesterday. The road heads east and the houses hang onto the roadway.   El Ultimo Cuple is awaiting us so let us pop in for a coffee.   Marisol notes ‘With space to play table football, billiards, targets to spend the afternoon with friends and/or family, spectacular treatment’  Table football! Clearly this is a place to be.  They recommend ‘Churrasco, Calamares, Guiso de Pulpo, Fabada’.  Jose added ‘It's wonderful how they take care of you. It is a place where local clients meet, and they are exceptionally served by the owner.’


Mooching on we find the Supermercado San Miguel.  Zoltan is unhappy that the google times are not the same as the times on the actual site- which include a decent amount of siesta time.   Zoltan has made two sallies into the world of Google Reviews.  They were jolly pleased with the Restaurante Mexicano in Sevilla and gave them five stars.

We arrived we didn't have paper and at night we went to shower without soap.  Sleep with the windows closed because the national highway passes right next to it and to make matters worse in the morning two cockroaches’  Bego reckoned ‘Very clean hotel, cordial and very close treatment, very good location near the cathedrals beach. Overall, highly recommended’.  As always, I suggest you go yourself to find the truth of the matter.

  Pina de Ebro has something for everyone who enjoys the architecture of Spanish pueblos.  It has the tiny lanes, on which houses have been rebuilt for generations without a care for the needs of the modern motorist.  We have the pathways which have been tiled over but once were dirt tracks.  We have the modern suburban developments of low rise houses and 80s hopefully aspiring shacks.  First all, however, we have a park. One thing we noticed, especially with a small boy in tow, was the number of parks with interesting play equipment.  This is because, in Spain, people seem to like children.  This does make them a semi-public property and people feel free to indulge them with sweetmeats and pass comments. ‘I think sucking thumbs makes children look ugly’ said one elderly woman.’ My Spanish for ‘well desiccated prune face, no one asked you’ deserted me.  The play equipment is in the Plaza Pilarin Artigas.  Honestly I’ve looked and was giving u...
