Down by the rias side

Once we were on a quiet road which went along the cliff tops and headed away from Coruna. It has grown. The tiny cottages have been augmented with four story and more apartments which seem discontented to the land around them Some apartamentos are one star hotels, although Portazgo has a 4.1 star rating, Edita gave it a five star rating almost a year ago. They said ‘The reason I chose this hotel was close to airport and bus stop just around 200 metres.

Room was perfect for solo traveler. Also, receptionist was very friendly and helpful, she gave me all information I needed. The area around is a bit too busy.’

We are turning off the high road and going down to the waterside The land here has a reclaimed or at least preserved quality. There is a Botanical Garden - of which Alvaro said ‘We were at the morriña festival at the Lola índigo concert, I loved the concert and the place also had places of shade, benches and a lake where you could put your feet. In short, highly recommended for an afternoon with the family’

We are on the Burgo estuary. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%ADa_del_Burgo

O Burgo is a settlement of about 9200 souls, being now a suburb of Coruna and apparently having one of the highest population densities in Galicia. The population has almost doubled since the year 2000. We will walk along the railway, which goes to Santiago. Ten people have reviewed the station Alfonso is wistful. O Burgo train station. It had its best days a long time ago. Today it is more of a way station with hardly any travelers using it. There are staff at the station. The facilities could be better maintained. There is graffiti on the walls and little movement is seen. What has been said has seen better days. Trains are occasional https://www.adif.es/w/20404-o-burgo-santiago?pageFromPlid=335
