Monumento de Guillermo

We are soon off the road and passing the Monumento de Guillermo Watt un Peregrino suízo - or the William Watt memorial as Google translate would have it. Guillermo was a Swiss pilgrim who died a day from Compostela in 1993. This memorial to him often sees small crosses left by pilgrims.

Back on the road we pass Tractores Riocbo - a tractor dealers of repute., https://tractoresriocabo.com/

Just five days before I wrote this Rafeal recorded five stars and ‘Excellent tractor sales company. They offer high quality tractors and exceptional customer service. Their knowledgeable staff helped me find the perfect tractor and their after-sales service is fast and efficient. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable equipment and great service.’

We virtually dash through A Brea but need to pause at the Ruta Xacobea artisanal cheese shop/ https://www.grupotgt.com/es/

Santiago Salamanca Rodriquez reckons they do excellent cheeses, quinces and honey. At the cross roads stands the Pension O’Meson cafe-bar. Carlos gave it 4 stars and this curious review ‘We were not hosted. We went to eat on the recommendation of another hostel. It is leaving the road about 70 meters. If you don't know or they recommend you, don't go ahead. It's worth stopping if it's time to eat. In November there is not much to choose from and it is a very good option.’

With that we push on to the day’s end.
