On to the West!

We were going to have breakfast at the Restaurante Riazor but the link is broken so we won’t. Instead we will go along the foggy road west towards the uplands between us and Santiago.

Just off the road, to the south, is Abejas Bierzo I thought you may want to visit as they are a ‘High-end Beekeeping equipment’ supplier. https://www.abejasbierzo.es/ You may wish to know that a Queen Excluding Grid costs 4.50 euros while a larvae extraction trowel is 4 euros. Organic honey costs 12.50 euros per kilo.

Hostal Orly is almost at the end of our day so we could pop in. It gets an average of 3.4 stars. The most recent review says 5 stars ‘Very good hotel, very large rooms, great suite. I know firsthand that the director is going to change soon and they are going to provide breakfast and lunch. We look forward to these spring changes.’ Elvianv was clearly impressed. Others were less happy. Francisco said ‘Quiet, but very abandoned’. Jon reckoned ‘The man who greeted us was very nice, but the room was dirty and both the restaurant and the bar were closed.’ I urge you all to visit to make your own judgement.
