The lonely road and the three star review.
We are getting towards familiar territory. The Valle del Grillo marks what always felt to be the first stage away from Astorga. It is a road devoid of settlement - but the road has been done up so lets enjoy the ride. We are currently 869m above sea level but will end up 913m, enjoy the view.
The only reviewable place is the estacion de Servicio Repsol. It gets 4.2 stars from the 104 people who felt the need to review it. I am always left wondering why someone would choose to give it a particular rating. 3 stars should be the starting point really but would you go for a 3 star place? Maybe Juan Carlos and Alehandro could get together to muse over why they gave 4 stars. The most recent is a 5 stars from Mo, who reckoned ‘Very good prices, the employees are nice, the pressure washer lasts a long time’ What more could you ask.
