Ghost roads and self-cured chorizo
We appear to be waling alongside a ghost road. Judging by where the buildings are I am assuming the N-120 was relaid all new and shiny and the old road was left for access to the existing properties. To the north and east of us is an industrial development, with room to expand and some semi-suburban housing in the Urbanizacion Camino Santiago.
We really are spoilt for choice as to where to visit. As the mouse hovered I noticed Koyasan Foods only had a 1.8 rating from 6 reviews and was drawn to it. Generally it seems about pay and conditions and so, should you be tempted to work for them I advise you to look at the reviews. Nearby is Dinoprint. They get 5 stars from 6 reviews. Here is the website https://www.dinoprint.com/
On the ghost road is the Carnicas Anjos SL. Google translate is working well here. Who could resist a ‘tub of Leon blood sausage with honey and walnut.’ https://carnicasanjos.com/ They do gift sets including semi-cured chorizo. I think I'm in love, https://carnicasanjos.com/producto/chorizo-achorizado-semicurado/
We will end at the Galp petrol station I think I once filled up on when heading out to Oviedo. It was February and the nice man who served attempted a ‘I’m speaking to foreigners’ conversation which was very satisfactory as I understood it all. It went something like ‘It is cold.’ ‘Yes, it is very cold.’ Over 1700 days on a Duolingo run and this is still my level.
