Nothing special, just another beautiful one

We are out amid the hayfieds, coverts and occasional houses. We will pass the Apartments Rural Los Novales.  A week ago Blanca wrote ‘A beautiful, clean and well-kept place where the hosts treated us very well. We went with a school group doing the Camino de Santiago and we were very comfortable. Also highly recommended to go with the family.’

In quick order we will pass the Iglesia Parroquial de Santiago de Ranon.  It has 10 reviews. It is worth an average 3.7.  The same building is site as being 50m away and gets 2 reviews and 3.5 stars,  Churches do tend reviews of the odd variety. Here are some:

Adrian said ‘Although it is not a building with centuries of history, the simplicity and certain reflection of the Asturian pre-Romanesque is curious, with those simple naves and those windows.’

Luciana opined ‘Church located in the center of town, well preserved and simple like most temples, I was not able to visit it inside, on the outside it looks very restored.’

Javier wrote ‘Nothing special, just another beautiful one. Place to drink water, sit and little else’

Covadonga was very final.  ‘Don't come in, I don't care.’

We will go near the Casa Pompo, a bar restaurante I feel Greg’s review makes it a place we must go.  ‘Bring cash.  The owner has a peculiar, but intelligent sense of humor.  I can definitely say that it's the best food I've eaten during my visit to Asturias.  The solomillo de vaca was like butter and cooked perfectly.  A gem, and at a very comfortable price’

We can not linger, alas.
