Reliegos and Reviews
We need to talk about Coyotuco. They are my new obsession,. We have come to the first stop, a Pilgrim Rest stop and they are there, giving it four stars.
The place is very good, it has tables and benches and great shade.
It is on the other side of the road and quite obscured by trees. You can hear the other pilgrims passing by and they don't see you.
The fault it has is the lack of water. A fountain would be needed, which apparently once existed, but it must have dried up.
From here to RELIEGOS there is just over a kilometer of pleasant walking.
I wanted to know more. They have done 452 reviews and put up 388 photos. Frustratingly clicking on the link to Coyotuco doesn’t give us any other places they have been or details so they will have to be a person or mystery.
I am addicted. The next thing by the road is a monument, of which they say
I like "CRUISES". Unfortunately, it seems that this has been vandalized by some "iconoclast", because it is hard to believe that this happened accidentally.
From here to "RELIEGOS" there are only 500 meters left. gently descending.
I can give this up. Really, I can. Reliegos is a village of 200 souls. It has several hostels, including Las Hadas. https://alberguelashadas.com/en/ The wiki page is extensive. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reliegos It includes such useful data as the fact urban waste management is conducted by Community of Municipalities Esla-Bernesga
We won’t linger. On the way out is the Pilgrim’s Football Pitch, Coyotuco gives it four stars and says ‘Alright.
To end with, Happy St Stephen's day. It is a public holiday in Catalonia. I hope you are all flying your Catalan flags.
